Service Agreement
​
This General Service Agreement (the “Agreement”) is between Style Artist LLC, herein referred to as "Service Provider" and you, the site visitor, herein referred to as “Client”.
Service Provider has agreed to provide services to the Client on the terms and conditions set out in this Agreement, while Client is of the opinion that Service Provider has the proper and necessary qualifications, experience and abilities to provide services to Client.
Therefore in consideration of the matters described above, the receipt and sufficiency of which consideration is hereby acknowledged, the Client and the Service Provider agree as follows:
1. Scope of Work
The Service Provider is to provide the Client with one or more services from those listed on www.styleartistchi.com (“Services & Bookings” page).
The services will include any other tasks which the Client and the Service Provider may agree on.
Any additional hours of service are to be agreed upon by the Client and Service Provider and signed off by each Party.
2. Term of Agreement
This Agreement will begin on the booking date and will remain in full force and effect until the completion of the Services. This Agreement may be extended by mutual written agreement of the parties.
3. Termination
If either party seeks termination of this Agreement, the terminating party must cancel the booking at least 24 hours prior to the booking date and time.
4. Compensation
The Client will provide compensation to the Service Provider in the amount specified on the invoice provided to the Client by the Service Provider as required by this Agreement.
A $50-100 deposit (depending on the service) is due at booking and the remaining balance is due by the start of date of the service booked. Nearing completion of service, the Service Provider will provide an invoice to the Client.
5. Independent Contractor
The Service Provider is acting as an independent contractor in providing the Services under this Agreement, not as an employee. The parties agree that this Agreement does not create a joint venture or a partnership between them.
6. Modification of Agreement
Any modifications or amendments to this Agreement will be binding if evidenced in writing signed by each Party.
7. Notice
All notices or demands required or permitted by the terms of this Agreement will be given in writing and delivered to the parties.
8. Time is of the Essence
No extension or variation of this Agreement will operate as a waiver of this provision. It is on the responsibility of both the Service Provider and the Client to respond to the other in a timely manner to avoid unnecessary extension of this agreement. Time is of the essence in this Agreement.
9. Integration
This Agreement contains the entire service agreement and understanding by and between the Client and the Service Provider and no representations, promises, or understandings, written or oral, not herein contained or in the Style Artist LLC Terms and Conditions shall be of any force or effect.
10. Choice of Law
This Agreement and the performance under this Agreement and all suits and special proceedings under this Agreement, be construed in accordance with and governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.
11. Severability
The provisions of this Agreement shall be deemed severable, and the invalidity or unenforceability of any one or more of the provisions hereof shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the other provisions hereof.
